We are just under a week away from another great Fourth of July celebration in Seattle!
Since Seattle is so far north, our summer days have more hours of sunlight and our Fourth of July celebrations are extra long as we wait for the sun to go down far enough to watch fireworks against a dark starry sky. In Seattle, the Fourth of July is considered the official start. We’ve been patient, and from here on out, the weather should be high seventies without a cloud in the sky. Sounds like a reason to celebrate, to me.
To get ready for our long evening of celebrating, we’ve picked out a few of our favorite red, white, and blue Fourth of July BBQ-ready outfits. Plus, if you’re planning to take a long weekend to celebrate, you may want to look at packing a few extra looks to start the partying in style early. We’ve got you covered for Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and, of course, the Fourth of July!

We’ve all heard the “joke” that Seattle summers start on the July 5th, but this year, the forecast is looking sunny with no rain! Let’s keep our fingers crossed it stays positive and sunny throughout the weekend.
So, here’s to good weather, good company, good food, and lots of fireworks. It’s time to kick off the Seattle summer with an incredible Fourth of July extra long weekend!
