Forecasters are predicting a warm weekend in Seattle with temperatures in the 60s and sunshine. We’re planning to spend it outside and in our spring looks. Winter may not be completely over yet, but we’re getting close. This past Monday, we saw the sun set after 6pm for the first time since October. And daylights savings time is just a few days away. Spring ahead means lighter mornings. Thank goodness. ☀️
Time to start spring cleaning and switching over our closets from winter wear to spring and summer colors. Even if it isn’t quite warm enough to be spring, we’ll show you how to wear spring styles now.
How to wear your spring looks now:
The key to staying warm during Seattle Springtime is to layer. Pair a light-colored cardigan with your favorite tee and add a matching scarf (or one with a pop of color!) to keep off the cool wind and rain. Sneakers not only make this look super cool, but they’ll keep your toes out of the rain.

THE JEAN JACKET
This classic piece never seems to go out of style, which we love. In the spring, it is the perfectly weighted piece to throw on over a summery dress. Pair with a closed toe sneaker and you’re ready no matter what the finicky spring weather decides to do.

Sweater weather is over but that doesn’t mean you can’t still pull out your lighter sweaters and wear them throughout the winter/ spring transition. Pair a loose sweater with a pair of cropped pants and slide on shoes. Then, show a little shoulder for a warmer weather look. Pro Tip: If it gets a little chilly, snuggle into that sweater. We won’t tell.

Spring fashion doesn’t mean we ditch our favorite boots. Pull them out and pair with a long light dress. Boots will give you a little extra warmth while keeping your feet dry during those spring rainfalls. Keeping the colors monotone and darker is the perfect way to start the transition to lighter, warmer weather clothes without diving in too fast. But if we’re totally honest, we believe black is a year round color.

Spring ahead this weekend. Not just on the clocks, but in your wardrobe. We’re here to help, if you see something you love, let us know. 😘 ❤️
